We headed down to Palmetto on Sunday for Shelby's Halloween birthday party. The kids had a blast jumping in the bounce house, and running through the trails that Rob cleared behind their house. Sam couldn't get enough time on the tire swing, and I'm sure that is all he'll want to do the next time we go back to the Harlan's.
Not pictured is me getting stuck in one corner of the bounce house, as the kids piled on top of me. The house sank to that corner and Rob had to help pull me up.
Shelby tried to show us how "real" witches fly into the side of a bounce house. That didn't work out to well for her.

Sam helped carve the pumpkin this year, and started gagging when he smelled the pulp. It was pretty funny for a few seconds, until we realized he wasn't just playing around. He was fine though, and we all got a good laugh out of it.
Sam dressed up as a tool man this year. Not Bob the builder, but a tool man. We tried to call him Handy Sammy, but he wasn't down with that.
The Rubenstein's hosted the neighborhood Halloween party this year, and we had to take it indoors due to the weather. Fortunately, we were able to do some trick or treating as there was only a light drizzle that evening.

We had our first showing today for our house. It is a young couple that are first time buyers, and they're ready to settle down and start a family.
Of course, I'm talking about the birdhouse Sam and I built. After being on the market for two weeks, a couple bluebirds decided to check it out today. We expect to hear from their agent soon, who we imagine is that quail. I just hope they don't expect anything to happen today, as we have an Alabama - Tennessee game to watch this afternoon.
I'm sure they'll love the neighborhood.

Keeping with tradition, we took Sam's annual portrait 6 months after his birthday. It was a rainy day today, so I setup the family room to be my studio. Aimee sat in for a few test shots so I could tweak the flash settings. She needed some head shots for her facebook profile anyway.
Sam was his usual, silly self, and came over to the camera after almost every picture to see if it was a good one. We had to resort to bribing him with gummi worms to keep the session going.
